Let's take as an example a 50K funded account from Earn2Trade company, let's say you have the 50K test account with a drawdown of $2,000 which means that if you have a negative balance in your account of -$2,000, you will be completely disqualified. But this is not all and I will explain why. For example, the $50,000 account has a maximum drawdown of $48,000. If the first day let's say you make a positive trade and you win $1.000, at the end of that day your maximum drawdown changes and will go up to $49.000, this maximum drawdown could go up to $50.000. Explained in another way, if on the first day of trading you earn $3,000, your day would end at $53,000, which means that the maximum drawdown would only go up to the amount to fund your account, which in this case would be $50,000.

The evaluation of funding within Topsteptrader consists of 2 phases to become funded with this trading company, these phases of the test seek to be sure that the capital granted by the trading company goes to a profitable trader who in the long run will not have any risk of losing the money granted by the company.
